Another lockdown, another book!
This tiny book is the same as the one I made for 40 Rabbits. Made from vintage French school book pages, homemade gesso and covered with a failed painting.
I set myself the boundaries of drawing one thing from my day, and only allowing black and white. The medium didn’t matter so there’s Indian ink, biro, black pencil, black or white pastel, markers, watercolours…
I finished the book just as we moved into phase one of deconfinement here in France. I love creating these tiny books, they are such low pressure, fun little projects to do during stressful times. I think I might do a wee guide showing how I make them soon.
