PRUSSIAN BLUE
In March 2017 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. What followed was 14 months of surgeries, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, physiotherapy and antibody treatment. During that time I would walk daily to the river and created watercolour drawings based on each day’s experience of both living with the disease and my time at the river. I limited myself to a palette of only Prussian Blue, with a little Burnt Sienna and Payne’s Grey.
